The present invention relates to a manufacturing procedure for a "heavy pipe" model with silencer and "model heavy pipe" with the obtained silencer, of the type comprising a pipe with an inlet and an outlet end, characterized by the fact that it comprises the following stages: a first stage in which a tube, which defines two ends: a first and a second, with an inner diameter that exceeds the outer diameter of the pipe, fixed to a wedge by its first end, a second stage in which a pipe mouth ending in a cover that is attached to the second end of the tube, with said pipe mouth comprising at least one side hole and at least a first cover that fits inside the pipe pipe seal of the second end, in the same way, with locks that define channels in the cover that connects the outside with the inside of the pipe mouth, with the mentioned locks that form the end of the stroke for the referred tube, a third stage in which the pipe is fixed to the pipe mouth and the wedge, which thus define a space or cavity between the pipe and the pipe and a fourth stage in which the configuration of a third stage is inserted in a modulation machine that overlaps, with the exception of the inlet end of the pipe, which gives it the desired shape, with said end that penetrates said overemodulation towards the inside of the tube through the channels until the first cover. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Rifles are known in the state of the art, which are called "heavy barrel" and also known as "varmint barrel" in certain sectors.
Said rifles comprise a tube that surrounds the barrel leaving a hollow space or cavity between the barrel and the referred tube, which gives the visual impression that the barrel is much larger than it really is.
The type of rifle is highly sold in several markets, for example, the American. The same requesting company has rifles that are sold under the name of VIPER series, some of which are very old and no longer manufactured.
It should be noted that these rifles most of the time have no sights; however, this invention allows the rear and front sights to be mounted because they can be designed in the overmodulation stage so that their stability is accurate.
Thus, patent no EP 2112452 is known, in the name of the applicant company of 2007, which refers to a firearm or air rifle with a silencer, of the type comprising a trigger mechanism, a barrel and a chamber with the said firearm or air rifle that comprise an overmodulated or over-injected silencer so that the muzzle and muffler form a single piece. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
This order is inserted in the manufacturing sector of "heavy barrel" type air rifles. The closest document is patent No. EP 2112452. This document describes a procedure for manufacturing a rifle with a silencer in which said silencer is immovable.
Said silencer, in principle, is an accessory that after the procedure request becomes an integrated part of the rifle, in other words, it cannot be removed.
In many countries, including the USA, it is not possible to sell a gas or air rifle with a silencer that is removable, in other words, a silencer that can be detached from the barrel without damaging it.
This patent starts with the applicant's experience with the procedure described in the closest document, but in relation to a set that already exists, in other words, the silencer is not an accessory independent of the rifle that is joined in an inseparable way, but in instead of being a "heavy barrel" rifle model that doesn't have an apparent change in appearance visually.
Thus, with the procedure and configuration described in the claims, the advantage is taken from the space created between the pipe and the pipe to reconvert it inside a silencer with the aid of the pipe mouth, which, because it is all molded, cannot be removed. This means that it is a non-removable internal silencer.
Another advantage is that it adds almost no additional weight to the rifle. In other words, it hardly adds any weight compared to what the rifle should weigh with a conventional muffler so that the user will hardly notice any change in the rifle's weight.
In addition, if a conventional muffler is attached, the length of the pipe is increased with the resulting stability problems that are involved. This does not occur in this invention because the barrel is apparently not enlarged as long as the silencer is attached inside the same rifle.
Overmodulation of the "heavy barrel" allows any desired shape to be given to it, that is, external flute, rifle mark and grip areas, etc., so that the external appearance of the "heavy barrel" area can be configured as required by the manufacturer or even customer.
Finally, it means that the barrel does not have to be machined, for example, with a thread on the tip of the barrel so that the muffler can be screwed on, which results in great savings in rifle manufacturing costs.
Therefore, in appearance, the rifle is the same, with a non-removable silencer, with the outer image or end part of the silencer / barrel that can be designed according to the wishes of the manufacturer or even the customer (flutes, trademark) , etc.), which is cheaper to manufacture because the pipe does not have to be machined and is highly stable and cost effective.
An objective of this invention is a procedure for a "heavy pipe" model pipe with silencer, the type comprising a pipe with an inlet and an outlet end, characterized by the fact that it comprises the following stages: a first stage in which a tube, which defines two ends: a first and a second, with an inside diameter that exceeds the outside diameter of the pipe, fixed to a wedge by its first end, a second stage in which a pipe mouth that ends in a cover that is fixed to the second end of the tube, with said mouth of the pipe comprising at least one side hole and at least one first cover that fits inside the tube seal of the second end, in the same way, with locks that define channels in the cover that connects the outside with the inside of the pipe mouth, with the mentioned locks that form the end of the stroke for the referred pipe, a third stage in which the pipe is fixed to the b hollow of the pipe and the wedge, which thus define a space or cavity between the pipe and the pipe and a fourth stage in which the configuration of a third stage is inserted in a modulating machine that overmoulds, with the exception of the entrance end of the pipe, which gives it the desired shape, penetrating said overmodulation towards the inside of the tube through the channels until the first referred rim.
An additional object of this invention is a "heavy pipe" model with a silencer, of the type that comprises a pipe with an inlet and an outlet end, characterized by the fact that it comprises a tube, which defines two ends: a first and a second, with an inside diameter that exceeds the outside diameter of the pipe, fixed to a wedge by its first end and the same, in turn, to the pipe, which is housed inside the pipe, a pipe mouth that ends in a cover that is fixed to the second end of the tube, with said mouth of the pipe comprising at least one side hole and at least one first cover that fits inside the tube seal of the second end, in the same way, with locks that define channels in the cover that connects the outside with the inside of the pipe mouth, with the mentioned locks that form the end of the stroke for the referred pipe, a space or cavity between the pipe and the pipe that is defined when the c year is fixed to the muzzle of the pipe and an overemodulation that covers the pipe, except for the inlet end of the pipe, which gives it the desired shape, with said overemodulation that penetrates towards the inside of the pipe through the channels until the first referred rim. SPECIFIC EXEMPLIFYING MODE OF THIS INVENTION
Thus, Figure 1 shows the pipe 1, the inlet end of the pipe 14, the pipe 2, the wedge 19, the entire overmold 20 and the cover of the mouth of the pipe 10. Figure 2 shows the overmodulation 20, the cover 10 and channels 11. Figure 6 represents the mouth of the pipe 5 formed by cover 10, locks 7, channels 11, side holes 6, 16, separation wall 18, first ring 8, second ring 9, cylindrical body 24 and side fins 13. Figure 7 shows the pipe 1 with its outlet end 15, tube 2, which define a space or cavity 3 between them, rifle opening 4, overmodulation 20, muzzle mouth 5, cover 10, locks 7, channels 11, side holes 6, 16 , separation wall 18, first rim 8, second rim 9, cylindrical body 24, latches 25 from the inside of the mouths of the pipe, stability bands 26 and fins on the side 13. Figure 8 illustrates the pipe 1, pipe 2, overmodulation 20 , wedge 19, stability bands 26, 27 and an O-ring 17.
Finally, Figure 9 shows the mouth of the pipe 5, cover 10, locks 7, channels 11, side holes 6.16, separation wall 18, first rim 8, second rim 9, cylindrical body 24, locks 25 of the interiors of the mouths of the barrel and fins on the side 13.
Thus, in a specific exemplifying modality, a "heavy barrel" model, with a silencer, is manufactured as follows.
A first stage, in which tube 2 is attached to the wedge 19 by its first end 21. Tube 2 has an internal diameter that is greater than the outside diameter of the pipe 1.
Then, in the second stage, the mouth of the pipe 5, which ends in a cover, is attached to the second end 22 of the tube 2.
The mouth of the pipe 5 has at least one side hole 6, although this embodiment is shown with two pairs of side holes 6, 16 facing each other, only as shown in Figures 5, 6, 7 and 9.
Furthermore, in this specific embodiment, said pairs of side holes 6, 16 two of two faces are not equal to two of two faces. Likewise, between the two pairs of holes 6, 16, there is a dividing wall 18 in the form of a step that creates agitation. The inventors established that, in this modality, agitation is created to assist in the dissipation of noise inside the space of cavity 3, so that it obtains excellent results as a silencer.
It also comprises that at least a first cover 8 that fits into the tube 2 to seal the second end 22. It is also attached with the locks 7 that define the channels 11 in the cover 10, which connects the outside to the inside of the pipe mouth 5 , with the overmodulation that passes along said channels 11 towards the interior of the tube 2.
Latches 7 also form the stroke end for said tube 2.
In the third stage, pipe 1 is attached to the mouth of pipe 5 and wedge 19. At the same time, a space in cavity 3 is defined between pipe 2 and pipe 1.
The objective of the first ring 8 is to prevent access to overemodulation to the rest of the mouth of the pipe 5, especially to the pipe 1, in other words, it is unable to access the cavity 3 formed by the pipe, pipe 2 and pipe mouth 5.
Furthermore, in order to further improve, if possible, the performance of the pipe mouth 5, it has been configured to be manufactured in a single piece, so that the mechanical stresses are distributed, thus avoiding breakage in possible common points .
The muzzle mouth is attached to at least one first cover 8. This first rim 8 is used to prevent the overemodulation 20 from moving downwards towards the space or cavity 3 or the same pipe 1, when the overemodulation 20 enters the side from inside tube 2. Said first ring 8 is attached to the walls of tube 2 and seals the space or cavity 3.
For safety reasons, although they were given to attach a second rim 9, under the first cover 8, so that if, for any reason, a part of the overmodulation escapes of said first rim 8 would be stopped by the second rim 9. As with the first ring 8, this second ring 9 fits to the wall inside the tube 2, which also seals the space or cavity 3.
Finally, the configuration of a third stage is introduced into a modulation machine in the fourth stage, which performs overmodulation, with the exception of the inlet end 14 of the pipe.
In this way, the required shape is given to said tube 2, with the flutes of Figure 1 or the manufacturer's registered trademark, etc., with said overmodulation 20 that penetrates towards the interior of tube 2 through channels 11 to the first ring. 8, as described above.
Overmodulation 20 penetrates the inside of tube 2 through channels 11 (Figure 2), as already indicated, which is prevented by the first ring 8, which causes overmodulation to cool and solidify so that no part of said pipe 1 and pipe 2 can be separated, otherwise it can damage the rifle.
The mouth of the pipe 5, as shown in the Figures, can comprise a cover 10. Said cover 10 is located in the upper section of the mouth of the pipe 5.
The said cover 10 comprises channels 11. These channels 11 are arranged on the bottom face 12 of the cover 10 so that they are opposite the pipe 1. The purpose of said channels 11 is to distribute the overmodulation 20 towards that inside of the tube 2 in a guided and controlled manner (Figures 4, 5 and 6).
The locks 7 form the end-stroke mechanism for the tube 2, leaving said channels 11 open so that they can penetrate into the overmodulation 20.
The mouth of the barrel 5 comprises the cylindrical body 24 attached to the outside of the barrel 1. Inner latches 25 are fitted on the inside of said cylindrical body 24 (Figure 9) in which the barrel end stops are supported on the pipe 1.
In order to guarantee the correct centering of the pipe 1 in relation to the pipe 2, the inventors have used the same mouth of the pipe 5. Thus, the cylindrical body 24 comprises fins on the outer side 13 arranged radially (Figures 5, 6 and 9) .
In a preferred embodiment, said fins on side 13 have a width equivalent to the distance between tube 2 and the mouth of the pipe 5. In this way, these fins on side 13 (Figure 7) are adapted to tube 2 so that they do not allow any movement of the pipe 1, nor any deviation.
The initial part of the barrel 14 as shown in Figures 1, 3 and 8 comprises a wedge 18, joined to the tube 2 and the barrel 1. Said wedge 18 is also covered by overmodulation 20.
There is an O-ring 17 between the wedge 18 and the tube 2 to improve the sealing of the sealing pipe 1, which makes accidental entry of overmodulation 20 into the cavity 3 impossible.
The product obtained with the procedure previously indicated is a "heavy barrel" model with a silencer. The previous procedure can be used with both rifles and pistols.
The "heavy pipe" model obtained is of the type comprising tube 2 which is attached to the initial part 14 of pipe 1. When connected, the space or cavity 3 is left between them. Likewise, the pipe opening 4 and its respective part of the tube remain open.
The mouth of the pipe 5 fits into the pipe 1, Figure 5. Said mouth of the pipe 5, when attached to the pipe 1, at the same time covers the pipe 2 referred to in its final part. In order to allow the passage of overmodulation 20, channels 11 are provided between the mouth of the pipe 5 and the tube 2 so that they form inlets for the overmodulation towards the interior of the tube 2.
The mouth of the pipe 5 is able to perform its function from a side hole 6. In this modality, as shown in Figures 5, 6, 7 and 9, it is seen with two pairs of side holes 6, 16 facing one To the other.
Furthermore, in this embodiment the said pairs of side holes 6, 16 two of two sides are not the same. Likewise, between the two pairs of holes 6, 16, there is a partition wall 18. Said partition wall 18 is configured as a step that creates agitation. The inventors have established that, in this modality, agitation is created by the combination of the uneven side holes 6, 16 and the dividing wall 18, which helps in the dissipation of noise inside the cavity space 3, so that it obtains excellent results as a silencer.
In order to further improve, if possible, the performance of the pipe mouth 5, it was configured to be manufactured in a single piece, so that the mechanical stresses are distributed, which thus avoids rupture in possible common points.
The muzzle mouth is fitted with at least one first cover 8 which is fitted into the walls of the tube 2. This first rim 8 is used to prevent overmodulation 20 from moving downwards towards the space or cavity 3 or the same pipe 1, when said overmodulation 20 enters inside the tube 2.
As described above, the safety reasons, although they were given to fit a second ring 9, under the first cover 8. Thus, if the first ring 8 is not enough to stop all overmodulation 20, the second ring 9 will collect all overmodulation 20 that could filter and prevent it from reaching tube 2 or pipe 1. As with the first ring 8, this second ring 9 fits into the inner wall of tube 2, also to reach the space or cavity 3.
Overmodulation 20, in addition to making the non-removable rifle barrel, provides the required shape to said tube 2 with flutes shown in Figure 1 or the manufacturer's registered trademark, etc.
Stability bands 23, 26, and 27 are provided in four stages of overmodulation which stabilizes overmodulation 20 in tube 2, barrel 1 and wedge 19.
The function of channels 11 (Figure 2) is to allow overmodulation 20 to enter the inside of tube 2. When said overmodulation 20 enters the inside of tube 2, it is delimited in the same way by the mouth of the pipe 5 , which will stop the overmodulation 20 by the first rim 8 and that, when the above overmodulation 20 is cooled and solidified, no part of said pipe 1 and tube 2 can be separated.
The mouth of the pipe 5 has been configured with the cover 10 in this modality. Said cover 10 is located in the upper section of the mouth of the pipe 5.
Said cover 10, comprises channels 11. These channels 11 are arranged on the bottom face 12 of the cover 10 so that they are covering the pipe 1. The purpose of said channels 11 is to guide and distribute the overmodulation 20 towards the inside of the tube 2 in a controlled and guided manner (Figures 4, 5, 6 and 9).
As described for the procedure, the mouth of the pipe 5 comprises the fins on the outer radial side 13, after the pipe 1. Furthermore, these fins on the side 13 have a width equivalent to the distance between the pipe 2 and the mouth of the pipe 5, which thus preventing the pipe 1 from decentralizing due to said side fins 13 fitted inside the space or cavity 3, which immobilizes the pipe 1.
The first end of the tube 21 comprises the wedge 16 that joins the tube 2 to the barrel 1 and which is covered by the overmodulation 20.
There is at least one O-ring 17 between the wedge 18 and the tube 2 to improve the tube 1 and the seal of the tube 2 and to improve the overmodulation 20 of the tube inlet 2.
In this way, when the rifle is fired, the noise is dispersed by the agitation that is created in the side holes 6, 16, together with the dividing wall 18 and that can be dissipated through the spaces that exist between the fins on the side 13 to the rest of the space or cavity 3.
This means that the space or cavity 3 between the pipe 2 and the pipe 1 is used as a silencer, but that it cannot be removed from the pipe in accordance with current legislation in countries such as the USA.
This invention patent describes a procedure for the manufacture of a "heavy pipe" model with a silencer and a "heavy pipe" model with a silencer obtained. The examples mentioned here do not limit the invention and, for this reason, it can have several requests and / or adaptations, all within the scope of the following claims.
